Brass is a copper-based alloy with the main addition being zinc. Other additives in smaller quantities and in different combinations such as arsenic, lead, phosphorus, aluminium, manganese and silicon give the various brass alloys a wide range of uses and physical characteristics.
Brass alloys can be excellent for machining, bending and folding. It is widely used for valves, machined fittings and components for the plumbing, electrical, automotive, hydraulic, marine, gas and architectural industries.
