Devcon Stop Seize - Copper. Stop Seize Copper is aheavy duty, high temperature water repelling compound that protects against seizure of metal parts.

It is suitable for easy assembly and dismantling without seizure or distortion of new and overhauled equipment/ machinery and all facets of engineering as found in steel and mining industries and many other associated industries. This product features a natural positive affinity to adhere to metal surfaces, resists corrosion in the presence of weak caustic and corrosive solutions such as diluted hyrochloric, sulphuric and nitric acids, alkaline solutions, salt water, and is inert in most gases including butane, natural gas, etc. Recommended applications include lubricating and protecting valve assemblies, conveyors, flange gaskets and studs, drive chains, wire rope and compressors. NOT for use on stainless steel and other soft metals.
