Collier & Miller’s Gap Year Program offers successful applicants a secure 12-month employment opportunity with one of the region’s leading employers.

Collier & Miller Gap Year recruits also gain valuable life skills that bolster their CVs and boost their future employment prospects.

As a Gap Year employee, you’ll provide essential support to the business across our varied departments, working with our experienced and diverse team. You’ll contribute to the daily operations of the business and play an important role in supporting our team’s overall productivity.

Opportunity to extend your role beyond your gap year is also a possibility, via one of our many apprenticeship, cadetship or sales consultant positions.

Collier & Miller’s Gap Year Program is open to all HSC school leavers. Successful applicants will be motivated and reliable and a positive attitude is a must.

Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test and be comfortable with physical work such as lifting and handling items including tools and raw materials.

While the Gap Year positions are typically Monday-Friday, willingness to work occasional Saturdays is required.

The program kicks off at the beginning of each calendar year, with applications opening around October/ November.
