Diamond Cut-Off Wheel GP

PFERD Asphalt type DS AS diamond cutting discs are a specially designed tool for aggressive and fast cutting of asphalt or bitumen. Depending on the blade you chose, they can be used on either Petrol cutter or Joint cutter. The maximum RPM is dependent on the size of the disc.

PFERD diamond cut-off wheels are manufactured in compliance with the highest quality and safety standards. Guaranteed optimum cutting results allowing economical work on different types of construction materials, especially on asphalt.

When possible wet grinding is recommended to reduce tool wear, the risk of heat damage and dust exposure but the blade can also be used in dry conditions. Using the tool at a low pressure is recommended to stop from overheating.

The gaps between the segments are called gullets. The gullets are there to improve the airflow, dissipate heat and remove slurry, helping to maintain the cutting performance of the blade.
