Stacey Cameron completed a Certificate III in Business Services Administration while working at Collier & Miller. As part of our busy administration team, Stacey’s role includes reception duties, accounts receivable and assisting customers and staff throughout the business.
When did you start working at C&M?
I started working at Collier & Miller in January 2021. I was 18 years old.
I had previously completed one week’s work placement with the business in Year 11 for my Business Administration elective. I loved my placement so when I saw the role advertised, I applied straight away.
How did you find managing work and study commitments?
I had a lot of support from my team and supervisors, who were always happy to answer any questions and helped me relate all topics to my day-to-day duties.
What do you enjoy most about working at C&M?
The thing I enjoy most is the support and encouragement I get from my colleagues. I also like the variety of duties we complete throughout the day, and we are always very busy - the days go really fast! I wake up every day wanting to come to work.
Piece of advice for others starting out their careers?
Work hard, be honest and reliable.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I love spending time with my friends and family and border collie Ollie. I also love water skiing!
