Friction clutch base assembly to fit all common Bare Co. 8" diameter friction clutches. Supplied ready to assemble this part is fitted with the bronze bush ready to accept the drive plate spigot.
Specifications
- Fits all 8" Bare Co. friction clutches
- Diameter = 8"
- Bolt holes = 8 x 13mm (accepts 1/2" diameter bolts)
- 1-3/4" x Z20 spline female
- Single tapered cotter pin.
Cotter Bolt Installation.
- Rotate cotter until flat side engages in shaft groove
- Use hammer to seat cotter bolt
- Tension to 100 Ft-Lb (136Nm)
- Use hammer to re-seat cotter bolt
- Re-Tension to 100 Ft-Lb (136Nm)
- Repeat after intial 8 hours, then each 40 hours of use
PTO SHAFT SLIDING DRIVE TUBES
* Drive tubes MUST be greased every 20 hours. Excessive end thrust due to lack of grease will shear clamping cotter bolts.
