Repair the lower clean grain elevator on selected Case-IH® Axial-Flow combines with this C&M made in Australia stainless steel elevator boot front cover. Manufactured from 4mm grade 304 stainless steel, this direct-fit replacement suits compatible 2377, 2388, 2577 and 2588 combines and replaces OEM part number 249262A1.
Manufactured by C&M at our engineering facility in Griffith, NSW, the cover protects the transition point where grain moves from the cross auger area into the clean grain elevator. This section is continually exposed to abrasive grain and dust as material is collected by the elevator paddles.
The heavy-duty stainless steel construction provides increased resistance to corrosion, pin-holing and gradual surface thinning compared with a standard painted carbon steel cover. When the cover is removed, inspect the clean grain elevator chain, paddles, lower sprocket, bearings and shaft. A stretched chain, damaged paddle or worn sprocket can reduce material clearance and increase contact with the boot cover.
