Designed for selected Case-IH® 2377 and 2388 combines fitted with AFS sensors, this direct-fit replacement provides the required sensor ports while improving resistance to corrosion and abrasive grain wear.
Manufactured by C&M at our engineering facility in Griffith, NSW, this elevator trunk replaces the original painted steel housing with heavy-duty stainless steel construction. The extended wear design helps reduce wall thinning caused by repeated grain movement, supporting reliable crop flow and a longer service life in demanding harvesting conditions.
This version is specifically manufactured for combines equipped with AFS (Advanced Farming System) sensors. Confirm the machine model, serial number and sensor configuration before ordering, as non-AFS machines require a different elevator housing.

Expert Maintenance Review
When replacing the clean grain elevator housing, inspect the elevator chain, paddles, sprockets, bearings and shafts. Worn paddles or sprockets can increase chain movement and place unnecessary load on the replacement housing.
Check the existing trunk for thin sections, grain leaks, corrosion and wear around mounting or sensor openings. These are common signs that the housing is nearing the end of its service life. Replacing worn related components at the same time can help maintain consistent grain flow and reduce the risk of repeat downtime during harvest.
Recommended Maintenance Upgrade
For a complete clean grain elevator overhaul, consider installing a new clean grain elevator chain and inspecting both elevator sprockets when fitting this stainless steel housing. This helps prevent worn drive components from damaging the new trunk.
Installation Tip
Before removing the original housing, record the position of the AFS sensors, wiring retainers and mounting hardware. During installation, check that the chain runs centrally through the trunk, confirm paddle clearance and rotate the elevator by hand before operating the combine.
