MacDon® & CNH Compatible Hardened Center Drum Drive Sprocket (16T)
Ensure positive power delivery to your feeding system with this premium C&M Australian-made center drum drive sprocket. Specifically engineered for MacDon® and CNH (Case IH® and New Holland®) draper platforms, this 16-tooth sprocket is the primary drive component responsible for powering the center feed drum assembly.
Manufactured in our Griffith factory, this sprocket features hardened teeth to withstand high-torque loads and reduce wear from constant chain engagement. It is precision-machined with a 1-1/4" x 14 spline hub for a high-strength connection to the drive shaft. This extended wear solution provides a longer service life for your intake drive, keeping your machine in top condition during high-capacity harvesting.

Expert Maintenance Review
The 16T drive sprocket is the high-speed drive source for the center feed drum. Because this sprocket has a smaller diameter than the driven 37T sprocket, each tooth engages the chain more frequently, leading to faster wear. We recommend inspecting the Z14 splines for any signs of movement and the teeth for "hooking" during every preventative maintenance check.
Upgrading to a hardened C&M sprocket is a high-performance choice. The hardened tooth profile resists the abrasive "sanding" effect of harvest dust much more effectively than non-hardened alternatives. This high-strength component ensures your drive timing remains accurate, preventing chain vibration and extending the service life of the entire center drum assembly.
Maintenance Tip: Check the 37T Driven Sprocket
This 16T sprocket is designed to run 60 pitch chain to drive the larger 37T sprocket bolted to the feed drum. When replacing the drive sprocket, always inspect the 37T sprocket and the drive chain for wear. A worn chain will rapidly damage a new hardened sprocket; replacing the set together ensures your feeding system stays in top condition.
