A conscious choice has been made to utilize high-grade polycarbonate in crafting our rain gauges. Our polycarbonate is resistant to UV, doesn't yellow, and remains resilient over time, resisting brittleness. In contrast, inferior versions commonly found in the market are crafted from low-grade polystyrene, which turns brittle immediately after moulding and tends to yellow, especially in harsh weather. Additionally, the flat measuring bases in AgBoss RainMaxx gauges simplify the cleaning process for sediment and other debris.
