These multi-purpose rivets are suitable for general fastening in medium to heavy-duty applications. They are recommended for situations where a stronger rivet is required.

The Large Flange Head Steel Rivets with Steel Zinc Plated stems are specifically designed for use where a stronger rivet with a larger bearing surface area is needed. Both these Zinc Plated Steel rivets are mainly intended for interior applications but can also be used externally if adequately painted or protected.

Rivets are designed to work with materials within a specified thickness range, known as the rivet's Grip Range. To ensure proper installation and optimal holding power, select a rivet with a Grip Range that matches the total thickness of the materials you are fastening. Drill the appropriate-sized hole for your chosen rivet and verify that the combined thickness of the materials falls within this Grip Range.
