SMC (3-Way 2-Position) Roller Lever Valve - Control single acting cylinder

SMC VM100 series is a compact roller lever actuated 3-way x 2-position mechanical valve. Ports are located on the side of the valve.

The valve is used to fill a cylinder, and also to exhaust it afterwards, so that a new working stroke can be realized. Therefore, a valve with two ports would not be adequate. Venting requires a third port. Tye roller lever actuation is ideal for tripping an action.
