Case-IH® Compatible Stainless Steel Incline Elevator Head Rear Cover
Repair the high-wear transition area of your combine’s grain-handling system with this C&M made in Australia stainless steel incline elevator head rear cover. Designed for compatible Case-IH® mid-series Axial-Flow combines, this direct-fit replacement helps contain grain and dust while protecting the rear of the incline elevator head.
Manufactured by C&M at our engineering facility in Griffith, NSW, this rear cover replaces the original mild steel component with heavy-duty stainless steel construction. The extended wear design provides improved resistance to corrosion, abrasive grain movement and premature wall thinning in this high-impact area.
Replacing a worn or damaged rear cover helps maintain a properly enclosed grain path, reducing the risk of grain leakage and dust escaping around the incline elevator head during harvest.

The C&M Difference
C&M made in Australia parts are developed around the fit and function of the original component. Critical dimensions, mounting points and material requirements are checked to provide a practical direct-fit replacement. Stainless steel construction also provides an extended wear alternative for an area exposed to continuous abrasive grain movement.
Expert Maintenance Review
The incline elevator head is a high-wear transition point where grain changes direction before entering the grain tank. Inspect the rear cover for polished wear areas, thin sections, cracking, loose mounting points and grain leakage during pre-harvest maintenance.
When the cover is removed, inspect the incline elevator chain, paddles, upper sprockets, bearings and shafts. A stretched chain, worn sprockets or damaged paddles can increase movement inside the housing and accelerate wear on the replacement cover.
Recommended Maintenance Upgrade
Inspect the incline elevator chain, paddles, bearings and top drive sprockets when replacing the rear cover. Replacing excessively worn related components helps maintain smooth grain movement and protects the new stainless steel cover from unnecessary contact.
Installation Tip
Clean the mounting surfaces and compare the replacement cover with the original component before installation. Check adjoining panels and seals for damage, tighten the mounting hardware evenly and rotate the elevator by hand to confirm adequate chain and paddle clearance.
