Fendt® Compatible IDEAL® 8 Feeder House Chain & Sprocket Kit – 3 Chain
Keep the product feeding system on your Fendt® IDEAL® 8 in top condition with this C&M aftermarket 3-chain feeder house chain and sprocket kit. Designed for IDEAL® 8 combine harvesters fitted with the 3-chain feeder house, the kit includes one complete feeder chain assembly and three matching 12-tooth sprockets, providing the main wear components required for a practical feeder house refurbishment.
The C&M feeder chain assembly uses 26 slats with a closer 8-link outer-chain spacing, compared with the original Fendt® arrangement of 18 slats with a wider 12-link outer-chain spacing. This higher slat count provides a different crop-engagement pattern through the feeder house while retaining the required four-chain configuration for the listed machine.

The C&M Difference
This kit brings the feeder house chain and matching sprockets together as one refurbishment package rather than replacing worn components individually. The feeder assembly uses C&M's Grade 350 roll-serrated electroplated slats, high-tensile fasteners and premium chain construction, while the matching Grade 1045 sprockets are manufactured in Australia. C&M feeder house chains are assembled and checked at our Griffith, NSW facility before delivery.
Expert Maintenance Review
When a feeder house chain has accumulated enough wear to require replacement, inspect the drive and idler sprockets at the same time. Worn tooth profiles can affect how a new chain seats and runs, potentially contributing to uneven chain loading and accelerated wear. This kit supplies four matching sprockets with the new chain assembly so the main chain-and-sprocket wear surfaces can be renewed together.
Recommended Maintenance Upgrade:
Replacing worn feeder sprockets when fitting a new feeder house chain helps maintain correct chain engagement and gives the new chain a sound running surface from installation.
Installation Tip
Before fitting the chain assembly, confirm the feeder house is clean and inspect the sprocket shafts, bearings, keyways and gib-head keys for wear or movement. Install each ACW081994A sprocket in the correct orientation using the machined boss as a reference, then check that all four chains run square and evenly before final tensioning. Recheck chain tension after the initial period of operation.
