Case-IH® Compatible Rasp Bar Flange Bolt - 1/2-13 UNC x 1-1/2"
Secure rotor rasp bars correctly with this quality aftermarket Grade 8 flange head bolt for compatible Case-IH® Axial-Flow combine harvesters. Manufactured in the common 1/2-13 UNC x 1-1/2" imperial size, this high-tensile fastener is suitable for many earlier Case-IH® rotor applications through to the 2388 series.
The serrated flange head provides a broad clamping surface and helps resist loosening under the vibration and loading generated through the threshing rotor. The 1-1/2" bolt length is slightly longer than the original 1-1/4" bolt used in some applications; however, sufficient clearance is available for correct installation.

Expert Maintenance Review
Rasp bar bolts operate in a high-vibration, high-load environment and should be inspected whenever rasp bars are serviced or replaced. Replace bolts showing damaged threads, rounded heads, stretched shanks or worn serrations. Correctly securing each rasp bar helps maintain rotor balance and prevents movement during operation.
Installation Tip
Inspect the rasp bar mounting holes and mating surfaces before installation. Tighten fasteners to the machine manufacturer's recommended procedure and recheck all rotor hardware before returning the combine to service.
