Case-IH® Compatible Stainless Steel Clean Grain Elevator Trunk (Non-AFS)
Restore reliable operation to your combine harvester’s clean grain handling system with this C&M made in Australia stainless steel clean grain elevator trunk. Designed for compatible Case-IH® 2388, 2577 and 2588 combines without AFS sensors, this direct-fit replacement provides improved resistance to corrosion and abrasive grain wear.
Manufactured by C&M at our engineering facility in Griffith, NSW, this clean grain elevator housing replaces the original painted steel trunk with heavy-duty stainless steel construction. Its extended wear design helps reduce wall thinning caused by continuous grain movement, supporting consistent crop flow and a longer service life in demanding harvesting conditions.
This version is specifically designed for non-AFS machines and does not include sensor ports. Confirm the machine model and AFS configuration before ordering, as combines fitted with Advanced Farming System sensors require a different elevator housing.

The C&M Difference
C&M made in Australia parts are developed around the fit and function of the original component. Critical dimensions, mounting points and machine configurations are checked to provide a practical direct-fit replacement. Stainless steel construction also provides an extended wear alternative to the original painted steel clean grain elevator housing.
Expert Maintenance Review
When replacing the clean grain elevator trunk, inspect the elevator chain, paddles, sprockets, bearings and shafts. Worn paddles or sprockets can increase chain movement, reduce grain-handling efficiency and place unnecessary load on the replacement housing.
Check the existing trunk for thin sections, grain leaks, corrosion and wear around mounting points. These are common signs that the housing is approaching the end of its service life. Replacing worn related components at the same time can help maintain consistent grain flow and reduce the risk of repeat downtime during harvest.
Recommended Maintenance Upgrade
For a complete clean grain elevator overhaul, consider installing a new clean grain elevator chain and inspecting both elevator sprockets when fitting this stainless steel trunk. This helps prevent worn drive components from damaging the new housing.
Installation Tip
Before installation, confirm that the combine is a non-AFS model and compare the mounting points with the original trunk. Once fitted, check that the elevator chain runs centrally through the housing, confirm paddle clearance and rotate the elevator by hand before operating the machine.
